The Committee for Ethnic Affairs (CEA) had their first meeting of the New Year on Thursday, January 6. 2011 in the Auditorium of the Executive Office Building, located at 101 Monroe Avenue, in Rockville Maryland.
The Committee for Ethnic Affairs meets on the first Thursday of every month to advise the County Executive and the County Council in matters of public policy relating to the County's diverse communities. Including a collection for Manna Food at several Giant Food stores throughout Montgomery County where several of the CEA members will be volunteering their time.
The upcoming Chinese New Year and Black History Month in February were also discussed briefly with more details to come.
