Leggett to Release Report of the Latino Youth Collaborative Steering Committee

County Executive Isiah Leggett will release the report of the Latino Youth Collaborative Steering Committee.  In August 2009 he appointed the committee to develop recommended strategies and action steps for addressing the educational, violence prevention and well-being needs of County Latino youth and their families Leggett will also name his representatives to serve on an Oversight Work Group that will monitor progress in the implementation of the report’s recommendations.

Leggett will be joined by County Council Member Nancy Navarro and Board of Education President Christopher Barclay.  Diego Uriburu, Identity, Inc. and members of the community will also be on hand.
