County Teens Invited to Apply for Membership In the Montgomery County Public Libraries’ Teen Advisory Group

County Teens Invited to Apply for Membership In the Montgomery County Public Libraries’ Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
Montgomery County Public Libraries’ Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is looking for enthusiastic, energetic teens who like to read and share their thoughts.
TAG is recruiting new members between the ages of 14 and 18 who are interested in social networking; writing book, film and music reviews; identifying authors and local teen artists to feature and to interview; suggesting weblinks (think music or favorite YouTubes) to feature; and helping design new teen spaces in libraries.
Members, who serve from September through May, will earn Student Service Learning Hours and can work from home and with small groups. Monthly meetings are held at Rockville Memorial Library.
Applications will be accepted through September 10, with interviews to follow later in the month.
For more details about TAG, visit the TAG website or contact Susan Levine, 240-773-9420 or susan.levine@montgomerycountymd.gov.
